Meet Our Team
Hi, I’m Ken Froese, Parent Development Coach and founder of ParenTeen Coaching and Consulting.
Since 2006, I have been helping parents of teenagers and young adults navigate one of the most challenging and important stages of parenting. The teenage years are the big leagues of parenting. They require a different mindset, skillset and a different approach than the one many parents relied on when their children were younger.
Early in my career, I noticed a gap in the field of adolescent and family supports. Therapy was often the recommended approach for change. This can be very effective, but not always. What if some parents simply needed a better understanding of adolescence, practical tools, a different perspective and, most importantly, support applying that knowledge in every day life? That realization eventually led me to the creation of ParenTeen Coaching and Consulting.
My coaching goes beyond practical parenting tips and strategies. While those can be helpful, lasting change often requires something deeper. I help parents develop the self-awareness, mindset, and leadership needed to stay calm under pressure, communicate more effectively, reduce conflict, strengthen connection, and maintain influence during a stage when many families struggle to stay connected.
My professional background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, certification as a Family Coach through the Academy for Family Coach Training, and extensive experience working with teenagers and families in residential treatment, in-home family counselling, mobile crisis support, and child protection. I am also a step-parent and have experienced many of the challenges that come with raising teenagers firsthand.
Over the years, one thing has become clear: as teenagers grow and change, parents must grow and change as well. The parents who are willing to adapt, evolve, and develop new ways of leading often develop stronger relationships, greater influence, and a more rewarding experience of parenting.
Hello! I’m Sami BigBull, an Emotions Coach and Wellness Counsellor, facilitating one-on-one coaching/counselling, as well as somatic (mind-body integration) workshops. As a graduate from Rhodes Wellness College, completing my certification in Life Coaching and a diploma in Wellness Counselling, my primary focus is on emotional wellness and somatic connection and release.
I am dedicated to helping teenagers and young adults understand the language of their body, deepening their connection and communication with their emotions and their nervous system. I focus on helping teenagers and young adults expand their capacity for things that feel overwhelming or intense, empowering them to have more choice on how they respond in difficult situations.
We will work together, utilizing tools such as somatic connecting, grounding techniques, safe emotional release, and take-home self reflection exercises, to build a toolkit of resources and strategies that the teenager can use in triggering situations. It will help them choose how they wish to respond, rather than immediately reacting or shutting down. They will be able to spot the warning signs in their body before the reaction occurs, allowing them to pause and take the necessary steps to support themselves first. This toolkit will be unique to the teenager, and will teach them how to create space for themselves with patience, compassion, and curiosity; having a positive impact on their self confidence, inner trust, and overall communication skills. As a result of strengthening their relationship with themselves, they will also improve their relationships with others.
If you teenager or young adult in your life is ready to feel a deeper sense of safety and connection within themselves, I’m here to support that process.
Hi, I’m Jordan Casello, a Certified Professional Life Coach dedicated to helping teens and young adults build confidence, develop self-awareness, and create a strong foundation for their future.
I believe every young person has unique strengths, talents, and potential waiting to be discovered. Through a supportive and collaborative coaching relationship, I help clients gain clarity about who they are, what matters most to them, and how to move forward with confidence and purpose.
My coaching focuses on identity development, self-esteem, emotional resilience, healthy boundaries, goal setting, and overcoming limiting beliefs. Together, we work to replace self-doubt and negative self-talk with genuine self-worth, helping young people navigate life’s challenges while staying true to themselves.
For parents, my goal is to provide a trusted, professional space where their teen can grow, develop important life skills, and gain the confidence needed to thrive in school, relationships, work, and everyday life.
I am a Certified Life Coach through Rhodes Wellness College and am committed to creating an environment of respect, encouragement, and unconditional positive regard. Whether a client is facing a specific challenge or simply looking to better understand themselves, I am passionate about helping them unlock their potential and build a future that reflects their values, strengths, and aspirations.
The teenage and young adult years are some of the most important stages of personal development. I am honoured to support young people as they discover who they are—not who others expect them to be—and empower them to build a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and fulfilling.
